New York Comic Con 2013 – Thank You

So ends another year at the New York Comic Con. As always, I had a lot of fun at the convention, though I’m afraid a lot of people were unable to find me this year because of my location. (I was on the main show floor, just outside of Small Press, rather than in Artist Alley or Small Press, as I was in previous years). Thanks, of course, to everyone who stopped by my table and commissioned a convention sketch or purchased a copy of Chadhiyana. I hope all of you check out and enjoy the new Chadhiyana web-comic, Chadhiyana: In the Company of Shadows, on chadhiyana.com as well.

Also, thanks to Wacom (our neighbours) who let me use their top-of-the-line Cintiq to create a new Chadhiyana piece (I’ll post it in my Fantasy Art gallery once I have the file sent to me). Also, to Epson for printing the piece on beautiful canvas paper for an exclusive, one-of-a-kind print. To Kate Beaton, Ryan North, Seth Fishman and Christopher Hastings for their informative web-comic panel. Last but not least, I want to thank the team at NovaStar Studios (James Rodriguez, Emilio Rodriguez and Michele St. Martin) for sharing the booth with me this year. If not for them, I wouldn’t have been able to exhibit at the show at all this year, and for that I am eternally grateful. Never mind, it was a pleasure sharing the space with a group of personal friends of mine, whose work and company I enjoy and whose book, Sara Rising, I truly believe is worth checking out.

Thanks again, everyone. I will see you next year or on the convention circuit in 2014. In the meanwhile, keep reading Chadhiyana: In the Company of Shadows; I can promise you it’s going to be a good read, whether you were familiar with Chadhiyana before or not. Enjoy!
