New Artwork Added!

J. M. DeSantis Blog Post

It’s been over a year since I updated the art samples on this website. I know that seems like an awfully long time, especially considering how much I’ve grown as an artist in the past year, let alone the past two or three (some of the samples were and are older than that). Even though my focus has turned more toward my writing and my own projects, I thought it was time to give the art section a bit of an update.

Samus Aran by J. M. DeSantisThe biggest updates were to the Miscellaneous Art section and the addition of the new Chadhiyana Art section. As it is, I’ve created so much Chadhiyana art (and, of course, still plan to) that she began to dominate the Fantasy Art section. Her own section seemed the best solution.

As for the Miscellaneous Art section, I am considering splitting it up differently, but I am uncertain how to just yet. I typically label each section by genre, so I don’t know that “Fighting Game Art” would be a great name for the growing Street Fighter fan art, nor do I think “Martial Arts Art” would be appropriate. I suppose I’ll figure it out eventually.

Anyway, enjoy the new artwork, and join my mailing list (small form located in the site’s sidebar). After all, Chadhiyana #2 should be available next week, and you won’t want to miss the announcement.

Cheers!
