The New Dark Fire Press Logo

I have officially updated the Dark Fire Press logo with this new design!

This was actually revealed on my social media accounts back in July. I intended to post about it here, but instead an empty post sat at the top of this blog for a while (more on that below).

As I stated elsewhere upon the reveal of this logo, I’m too silent about the fact that I’m the owner of and publisher at Dark Fire Press. Originally, DFP was set up as a publishing label for smaller works like my Gentleman Cthulhu web-comic collections; but between publishing a few other books I wanted to get out in the world (Robert Phillips and Ghosts Are People Too), getting the rights back to Chadhiyana: In the Company of Shadows (from Rosarium Publishing), and other creator friends approaching me about the idea of me publishing their works (The Day They Made Contact by Luis Cruz, Lil’Steve’s Closet by Anibal Arroyo, and The Adventures of Wonder Duck: The Furorian Takeover – Part 1 by Jorge Medina), I decided to make the venture a little more official in late 2018.

Now, although I still consider myself a Write-ist™ first (writer-artist, author, and creator), slowly I am stepping into a more official role as publisher and looking to at least grow the visibility of the publishing brand. This updated logo is a step in that direction, as is my increased openness as the owner of the small company.

As for why this post sat empty for a time, and why so many posts of late have been without graphics, something on the back end of my site with regard to uploading images has not been working properly. That seems to be fixed now. Of course, I’m still not looking to increase my blogging habits to those former days when I would write weekly (it just takes too much time away from creative endevours), I will almost certainly update the blog feed more often, as news comes along.

Of course, if you’re looking for even more updates, you can always join my Patreon, my mailing list, and follow me on any of my social media sites (all links in the sidebar), and don’t forget to do the same for Dark Fire Press: darkfirepress.com

Cheers!
