Happy New Year again. It’s been a few weeks since I’ve written a proper post or posted a page of Chadhiyana: In the Company of Shadows (on chadhiyana.com). For readers of that web-comic graphic novel of mine, as I’ve written about in the last couple of posts on chadhiyana.com, rest assured I have not stopped working on the comic. Quite the contrary. I have a big announcement planned for this month, and as such, it was decided that I should stop posting pages with the end of Chapter II (page 72). In fact, it’s quickly becoming possible that this forthcoming announcement may not be the only one I’m making this year.

Of course, it’s difficult to make promises or definitive remarks about any details at this time. Gears are turning, wheels are in motion, balls are rolling, but nothing is set in stone (or ink, rather) just yet. So, as I keep saying (perhaps ad nauseam at this point), you will have to be patient for the moment. All good intentions aside, sometimes things don’t always work out as planned, and having previously been in the position many times of announcing something that never came to fruition, I’m hesitant to say anything official until things are more settled and finalized. That said, I am very excited and hopeful!

For what it’s worth (if I haven’t frustrated you with the whole “I know something, but I can’t tell you” speech) I have many things in the works at the moment (some closer to being a reality than others), and that’s not to brag. Things are happening, and perhaps one or many of these things will come through. As I said in my Reflections on 2014, I have a very good feeling about this year. It could be the start of things I’ve wanted for as long as I can remember.

So for those whose interests I’ve sufficiently piqued, be patient. Announcements will be made as things are made official. In the meanwhile, I’ve got plenty else to write about, including the final part of my Handlebar Moustache Guide and possibly a review (been a while since I’ve written one) on The Hobbit films.
