I had a much different sort of blog piece planned for this week (and half-written already too); however, I have to admit that the present distractions are just too great to write about anything else but the distractions. In just three short weeks, the 2014 New York Comic Con will be opening for professionals on Thursday, October 9th. Following will be three days of comics, video games, pop culture and of course, Chadhiyana. As in the past few years, I will not be in Artist Alley, but rather you can find me in the Small Press area at booth 1259. First and foremost, I want to give a huge thanks to everyone who stopped by my Artist Alley table at the Baltimore Comic-Con this weekend past. It was quite a show this year–exhausting even. With the new Chadhiyana t-shirts, a new display set-up and my lovely booth girl (my girlfriend, Nadia), this was the best year yet. Yet it was equally exhausting–so much so, I fell further behind than ever on the most recent Chadhiyana: In the Company of Shadows page. Still, thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s show a success. I’ve enjoyed doing the Baltimore Comic-Con for the past three years, and hope to continue doing so in the future. Just a quick reminder that I will be exhibiting in Artist Alley at the Baltimore Comic-Con this weekend (table A109). The convention beings on Friday, September 5th and will run until Sunday, September 7^th; however, I will only be attending the convention for two days: Saturday and Sunday. I will not be able to get down to Baltimore until late on September 5th, so I will not have my table set up that day (sorry to those folks who only have Friday tickets). Read more… ›
