As I announced some time ago, I was going to be taking a long break from conventions and public appearances in order to focus on creating more work. So far, the creation end has been going well, with two books, a comic, and some new prints already done—and more of all on the way. My planned return to the public eye was going to be in the Fall, but I was surprised and humbled when I was invited to be a part of Barnes & Noble’s local author event (in Princeton, New Jersey) for a Q&A session and a signing for my latest book, and first novel, Robert Phillips.

The votes are in for my Inktober 2019 theme! However, before I begin, I have to give a heartfelt thank you to all of the fans and staff at the Baltimore Comic-Con this weekend for helping make this yet another successful year. As I said last week, I’ll be cutting down on (and essentially taking off from) conventions for a year or so, unless I’m a guest, such as at the No Such Con in the winter.
