Despite the most recent Gentleman Cthulhu comic I posted (“Giving Thanks” on gentlemancthulhu.com–which, actually, proved popular when Strange-Aeons Magazine re-posted it on their Facebook page), I don’t have a cynical opinion of Thanksgiving. Certainly, its origins are questionable at best, but the way in which its celebrated today I think can be taken separate from its beginnings. Family and friends get together to enjoy a bountiful home cooked meal (some do go out instead, I know) and enjoy (or tolerate) each other’s company. Though my blog posts are posting a day earlier since the summer (I used to post on Wednesdays) and so this may seem as coming a little early, I wanted to take the time to wish all of my American fans and readers a Happy Thanksgiving! May you spend it with those you care about–and I hope the food is good and plentiful too.

If you’re looking for a little more from me and maybe some artwork about the holiday, check gentlemancthulhu.com tomorrow for a Thanksgiving themed comic.
