2016: A Year of Adversity

J. M. DeSantis Reflections on 2016

2016 has turned out to be a challenging year. I had for a long time held out the hope that it was going to be a great year, another year of progress and success. After all, the past three had been for me (see Reflections on 2013, 2014, and 2015), each year better than the last. It has been a long wait between issues 4 and 5, and I’ve made some mention of why that has been in the past–not least that my publisher, Rosarium Publishing, was doing some work behind the scenes that delayed the issue’s release (Rosarium is still a very small operation, despite their growth over the years). That said, my publisher and I think the wait just may be worth it, because we both agree this is by far the best issue of Chadhiyana yet. Read more… ›
