The Chadhiyana #2 release date is fast approaching–only five days hence–and yet, there’s no reason to wait a minute longer, because comiXology released the book yesterday! But that’s not all! They also gave Chadhiyana another mention in their podcast (The comiXologist), Sequential Tart gave issue 2 a 10/10 review, and I have an forthcoming interview with them. It’s been over a year since I updated the art samples on this website. I know that seems like an awfully long time, especially considering how much I’ve grown as an artist in the past year, let alone the past two or three (some of the samples were and are older than that). Wow! I can’t think of a better word. This year’s New York Comic Con was not only my most successful in six years of exhibiting at the show; it was not only my most successful convention ever; it was a tremendous experience all around, and I am grateful to all of the people who helped make that possible. Another year has passed and the New York Comic Con is upon us once more! For the sixth year in a row I will be making an appearance at the show, this time in the exact same spot as last year: Booth 1259 in the Small Press area! Of course, it’s long past time I got back into Artist Alley, but that’s another story. For now, I’m just happy to be participating in such a monumental pop-culture event. (Read more…)

The Baltimore Comic-Con is this weekend (Friday through Saturday) at the Baltimore Convention Center, and (unfortunately) for the first time in four years, I will not be there. Of course, I don’t write that begrudgingly. I’ll be a groomsman for a good, long-time friend of mine who is getting married this weekend. Though I will say it is hard to know I won’t be there this year, especially since I really enjoy both Baltimore and the convention. What’s more, Baltimore Comic-Con seems to be the con where I have the most repeat customers and fans, and my publisher is right nearby in D.C. Because of all of this I’m going to make a very special offer. (Read more…)

It’s September 8th and you know what that means: it’s exactly one month to the day before the start of the 2015 New York Comic Con! It’s also six days and some odd hours before extended ticket mailing for the show closes. As in the previous few years, I be exhibiting in the small press area (I believe at the same booth as last year: 1259)–so be sure not to look for me in artist alley.
